Search and filter for users in the user management

  • Open the user management under Administration→ Users.

With the help of the search function at the bottom left of the display (arrow in illus.) you can search in the listed users according to a variety of criteria.

As well as simply searching for a user, (e.g. user13) you can also search or filter for a range of different criteria.

  • Do this by entering into the search input field, any of the filter names listed below with it’s following syntax:
filter name:<value>

Note! At this stage, there is only support for entry of one filter with a single value. There is no combined search. Value entries are not case-sensitive.

Filter nameDescription
mail:You can use this filter to search for either the whole or a part of the email address.

Example: Have all users displayed that have the string user13 in there email address:

mail:user13
name:You can use this filter to search for either the whole or a part of the display name.

Example: Have all users displayed that have the name Doe:

name:doe
group:Only for Cortado Server: You can use this filter to display all users, who are members of a certain AD group.

Example: Have all users displayed that are members of the Sales AD group:

group:sales
ou:Only for Cortado Server: You can use this filter to display all users, who are part of a specific organizational unit (OU) in Active Directory.

Example: Have all users displayed that are part of a specific OU:

ou:usa
disabled:Only for Cortado Server: You can use this filter to display all deactivated users.

Example:

disabled:
