Note! This feature is only available to customers with a Pro or Enterprise plan.
Your company can make files available to you on your managed iOS/iPadOS device, provided this feature has been activated for you.
- On the start page of the Cortado app, select the Files menu item (arrow in left illus.). Here you will find all the files that your company has made available to you (right image).

Marking files as favorites
- You can mark files as favorites by swiping them to the right.
- You will then find your favorites at the top of the list.
- To remove the file from your favorites, swipe it to the right again.

- Tap on a file (arrow in left illus.). A preview of the file is displayed for the most common file formats (right-hand image).
- The file is downloaded to your device at the same time.
Download multiple files
You can download your files to your iOS/iPadOS device to open and edit them in other apps.
- As soon as you tap a file, it will be downloaded to your device.
- To download all files at once, tap the menu button at the top right of the menu bar (upper arrow in left illus.) and then tap Download all Files (lower arrow in left illus.).
- You can recognize files that have not yet been downloaded by the light grey icon behind the file (arrow in right illus.).
The downloaded files can now be found in the Files app of your iPhone under On my iPhone (arrow in left illus.) in the Cortado folder (arrow in middle illus.).
Delete downloaded files
- To remove a downloaded file from the device, swipe the file to the left (arrow in left illus.).
- If you want to delete all downloaded files from your device at once, tap on the menu button at the top right of the menu bar (upper arrow in illus.) and then on Delete downloaded files (lower arrow in illus.) to delete all files (arrow in right illus.). The files will then be available for you to download again. They will only be deleted from your device from the Files app, but not from the Cortado app.
Alternatively, select Settings→ Delete downloaded files in the Cortado app menu, then click OK (arrow in right illus.).

Opening files in other apps
You can open your downloaded files in other apps and edit them there.
- Tap on one of your downloaded files and swipe it to the right or tap on the blue icon in front of the file (arrow in left illus.).
- You will be offered a range of apps for editing (or sharing etc.) your file (right-hand image).
- Open the desired app and edit your file.
Sorting files
Tap the menu button at the top right of the menu bar. In the menu that opens, you have the option of sorting your data by name, type, date or size.
