Printing from Cortado Workplace
- Open a file by short tapping it (see article File options at a glance).
- Then tap on Print button, above in the display (arrow in left illus.).
- Tap on Select Printer (arrow in right illus.).
Network
Here you’ll find all the company printers that your administrator has made available (upper arrow in left illus.).
- Select a printer with a short tap (lower arrow in left illus.).
- Now select the number of copies you wish to print and change other settings (Color, Orientation, Paper Size etc.) if necessary.
- Then tap on Print (arrow in right illus.).
- The printing process will be initiated.
Wi-Fi
- Here you will find all the printers that are available in the Wi-Fi network you’re currently in (upper arrow in left illus.).
- Select a printer with a short tap (lower arrow in left illus.).
- Then select the appropriate driver for your printer (arrow in right illus.).
Note! If your printer model is not listed, ask your administrator to install a suitable driver for your printer model on the Cortado server.
- Now select the number of copies you wish to print and change other settings (Color, Orientation, Paper Size etc.) if necessary.
- Then tap on Print (arrow in illus.).
- The printing process will be initiated.
Printing from other apps
You can print from any other app (assuming it offers a print option) on all printers that are available in the Workplace app. If you are using an older Android version (before 7.1), you need to enable (once only) the printer service in the settings on your device.
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Under General tap on Printing (arrow in left illus.).
- Select your work profile (upper arrow in right illus.).
- Than tap on Cortado Print (lower arrow in right illus.).
- Use the switch to enable the Cortado Print service (arrow in left illus.).
- Confirm the following message with OK (arrow in right illus.).
- Now the same printers that are available in the Workplace app are available in other work apps.
- Open the app that you wish to print from (e.g.: Polaris Office).
- Open the desired document here tap on Print in the app menu (arrown in left illus.).
- Open the printer list (arrow in right illus.).
- Now select the desired printer (arrow in left illus.).
- Tap on the Print button (arrow in right illus.) to start the printing process.
- You can also save the document in the Workplace app as a PDF. To do so you select, instead of a printer, Save PDF in Cortado Workplace.
- Tap on the Print button.
- The Workplace app will open. Select a location and save the PDF file there.
